Recolonize Mod actually based on n5p29 writing project on 2007. This project were halted when the author was in high school and were revived as the mod project.
- In this place, I'm trying to rebuild the scattered parts and pieces of Recolonize I've wrote in Indonesian language long time ago. There's a lot of holes and duct-tapes need to be filled and corrected. This page is the collection of the saga's story. Thus, this area is filled with spoilers. Even might reduced the fun and surprises of the upcoming game's campaign, these writings should give you images of the Recolonize universe, like how novels and print works did in many other series.
- And yes, actually I'm intended to make this as a novel book if possible. :P
About
Recolonize is a fiction story about quite-but-not-so-far future that mankind nearly extinction because hunted by an army of drones controlled by a central AI. It shares a similar but different concept with well-known Terminator franchise (in post-apocalyptic setting), or a more down-to-earth version of the Outlive RTS.
In this story universe there are two major faction, Humans and Drones. Humans survivor that scattered around the world still fights drones trying to gathering each other, Drones that works in one system with an ultimate AI called "The Mother" as the central. Still, the reason why Drones keep hunting humans still a mystery.
Plot
The story plot is told (mainly) from the main character's point of view. He was a common trooper of the Last Guardian brigade in R2 (Europe Region). Later then, he was promoted and got enough skill as a Commando. His meeting with a female scientist whose her parents involved in the Project Drones drags his interest in solving the Drones case and putting it to the end. Under the orders from the talented High General, the Last Guardian brigade travels around the world starts to protect humanity, reuniting mankind, searching for allies, and removing Drones threat once and for all.
